Wundernetz (Miraculous Net) emerged from observing how much our daily lives shifted toward screens and digital spaces during the pandemic. Many experiences that were once taken for granted\u2014touch, playing together, physical exploration\u2014increasingly receded into the background.<\/p>\n
Out of this observation grew the idea of a tactile landscape that invites play, discovery, and transformation. The work consists of modular textile elements that can be continually rearranged. Rather than creating a fixed object, this results in an open system that constantly evolves through the interaction of its participants.<\/p>\n
The work was inspired by fungal networks and their ability to create connections, share resources, and enable new growth. This form of natural networking serves as the starting point for a landscape capable of constantly reorganizing itself.<\/p>\n
Wundernetz conceives textile not as a decorative surface, but as an experiential space. The soft, organic shapes invite being touched, moved, and explored. The work arises from a desire to create spaces that are not merely observed, but actively experienced.<\/p>\n
At its core lies the conviction that touch, play, and physical experience are essential components of our perception.
