The delicate, filigree structures of the blossom are translated into varying heights and densities, forming a textile surface that feels simultaneously powerful and fragile.<\/p>\n<p>The work arises from an attentiveness to the small, the transient, and the easily overlooked in nature. I am interested in how much complexity and beauty lies within states that are often visible only for a brief moment.<\/p>\n<p>Through the use of recycled wool, a tension emerges between material durability and conceptual fragility. The surface invites the viewer to experience closeness through touch and spatial perception.<\/p>\n<p>Pistillo conceives ecological processes not as stable systems, but as continuous states of change, adaptation, and vulnerability.
