I grew up in Bari, a port city in southern Italy. The light, the proximity to the sea, and the dense, vibrant atmosphere continue to shape my visual sensibility to this day.<\/p>\n<p>My creative roots lie in fashion design. Over time, my focus shifted away from the body toward the relationship between human, material, and space. I wanted to work with greater freedom and perceive material as an entity in its own right.<\/p>\n<p>I work with industrial deadstock wool and New Zealand wool, with an increasing focus on recycled materials.<\/p>\n<p>My works invite the viewer to draw closer. They unfold their impact through direct experience\u2014in the interplay of surface, presence, and space.<\/p>\n<p>I live and work in Leipzig.<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"empty-space empty-triple\" ><span class=\"empty-space-inner\"><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"uncode_text_column\" ><p>My artistic practice is rooted in a deep understanding of material and construction\u2014knowledge I acquired through a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Textile Design at the BURG Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, alongside studies in fashion design and various internships.<\/p>\n<p>After gaining experience in the Berlin fashion scene, I established my own freelance studio in 2025: Vilos Studio. My work focuses on the intersection of craft heritage and modern design, driven by a particular interest in sustainable concepts.<\/p>\n<p>My work has been presented in various international contexts\u2014including a solo exhibition at the Burg2 Gallery in Halle (Saale) and as part of the special showcase \"Talente \u2013 Masters of the Future\" at the International Crafts Fair in Munich.
